However, I am looking for some way to get in touch with the author/owner so that I can use Emacs at my place of employment. Can anyone offer help here? Failing that, I will be stuck relearning GNU Emacs which I am sure works fine (if not better) but *is* different. Does anyone have a configuration file which moves the keys so that GNU Emacs looks like Gosling Emacs? This will alleviate the problem of the first paragraph.
