Keywords: graphics, plotting, software Message-ID: <2299@wpi.wpi.edu> Date: 13 May 89 20:18:53 GMT Organization: WPI Department of Mechanical Engineering Lines: 24 I am looking for a plotting package for a UNIX system. I have seen a package called GNUplot for a PC and I was wondering if a corresponding version existed for Unix bases. Here are the capabilities that I am looking for: - Generate graphs given tabulated data - Multiple lines per graph - Log or Linear axes (selectable for either axis) - Titles (axes and graphs) and Text - Output for HPGL, Tek4010/4014, PostScript (any one will do) For anyone who may be familiar, I use Grapher (Golden Graphics) and am looking for a similar package for use on a UNIX machine. If possible, it would be most convienient if it did NOT use windowing since this is a text based mainframe(?) that we work on not a graphics workstation. Any help is greatly appreciated. -- Mark A. (something to think about)
