Its probably bad form to say this here, and I'll probably end up with more hate mail than I ever need, but I'm going to state this anyway. UUCP (and 'bang addressing') are a really stupid way of doing things. Hence, foo@bar.UUCP is (almost) as bad as bar!foo. I have no idea which 'bar' you mean. foo@bar.baz.{com,edu,org,net,...} Does tell me which 'bar' you mean, and I have some hope of delivering it. But then, you were complaining about domain addresses to begin with. Nothing I've said has anything to do with where I work.
