Hey Jim, I've had a problem with Sun's non-domain routes for a long time... island!argv@sun.com argv%island@sun.com elef%smarmy@sun.com Now, the first is OK: is a local-part to sun.com, and you should just hand it off to your UUCP neighbor "island." Which you do. The second and third ones I have trouble with. In the past, the second line has worked as the first one did, lately it works as the third line does: "smarmy" is a local site within Sun. Any chance of getting your outbound mail gateways to rewrite everything so we see addresses like elef@smarmy.sun.com and putting out an MX wildcard record for *.sun.com? Thanks. Sorry you asked? /r$ -- Please send comp.sources.unix-related mail to rsalz@uunet.uu.net. Use a domain-based address or give alternate paths, or you may lose out.
