I let my membership lapse rather than put up with the array of
junk mail that came with it. I exchanged several letters with
Mr Herz (I think that's correct-it has been a while) and he sounded
as if he wanted to help, but I still got bingo cards,
insurance ads, and scads of other dreck.
I think part of the problem is the Institute's cart before the
horse approach. FIRST they get your name and address, and only
later do they give you chance to request it NOT be peddled out,
while brazenly demanding even more information about you to up
the ad revenues. Of course, in the meantime...
