Message-ID: <15752@louie.udel.EDU> Date: 18 May 89 15:07:07 GMT Sender: mmdf@udel.EDU Lines: 14 I finally got Minix 1.3 running last night! (Thanks to Glen Overby and the listserv at NSDUVM1) I'm running it on a AT&T PC6300 with 2 serial ports, however, and I want to use them. If I build a 1.3 kernel that has any serial ports defined, an endless stream of 'modem status' messages go to the console after I press the '=' key at boot time. Does anyone else have this problem? How do I set up ports for login? Can I have the port at 3f8H to use as a terminal to another machine (using something like cu) and 2f8H as a port to log in on? Thanks for any info.
