Lines: 23 I am looking for information on file formats from Graphics, CAD & Desk Top Publishing tools as well as data compression techniques. I have heard of the following: TIFF - Tag Image File Format IGES - Initial Graphics Exchange Standard ISIF - Intergraph Standard Interchange Format CGM - Computer Graphics Metafile CCITT Compression DXF - ? I have the Microsoft Spec and HP the HP guide to TIFF; also a spec for IGES from the June '87 issue of Byte. Sources, even FTP sites would be appreciated. Which are the most widely used today? I am gathering information on current file formats which will be compared and then used to write specs for conversion routines. Thank you, Scott Youmans youmans@cs.odu.edu
