The Mutual Broadcasting System may not be thought of in the same breath as "Auntie" BBC, but you sure learned some strange skills working that network. 'Nuff said; I seem to remember from various studies of teleconferencing systems that in the order of 100 ms is the most demanding regime for echo cancellors, room accoustics and discombobulated broadcasters.
