Is there any way I can get hold of that discussion? I will be teaching a freshman writing seminar (at Dartmouth College) next fall, on the topic of Women and Mathematics. I have not yet put together the syllabus. I hope to have controversial and thought-provoking topics, to get the frosh participating, and trying to formulate coherent arguments. One issue I will certain concentrate on is, why don't we know/hear about women mathematicians? A related issue is, How do 'they' keep us from hearing about women mathematicians. It should be a fun course. --Judy Goldsmith goldsmit@eleazar.dartmouth.edu
