It need not even be graphical, but merely menu- or template-driven. UIUC's notesfile system (which is used extensively here at Langley) provides a reasonable interface for maintainers, although I'm sure better ones could be devised. At any rate, after several hours of mucking around with FLAMES, I decided I could live with a simpler permission scheme than I had originally envisioned, and I reverted to using some of the canned library routines. -Tom
