I have some problems with elm. Many of the messages I get
contains two from lines. The first 

  From xxxxx
  >From zzzz

and then later in the header a line saying

  From: {the-senders-address}

If this second line exist elm gives an errormessage
    Premature end of file
and the every thing from the 'From:' line to end of message is deleted.

Anyone knowing about this problem.
