Gill) I am interested in learning about any standards activities in the area of character user interfaces. The standards may be at any level, such as the lower-level termcap and terminfo capabilities, or a higher-level that deals with menus and forms and the like (I have heard a little about something called FIMS, a Forms Interface Management System, but not much; my source said that P1003.2 was possibly considering it for the future.)
