You're wrong :-).  Motorola just recently announced sampling versions of the
68030 running at 50 Mhz!  Of course, it's a bit difficult to get cache
controllers that run at that speed and RAM at those speeds is slightly
pricey ;-).  25Mhz versions have been out and in products for a while.
