so far so good.  You have wiped the data from dh0:

NO NO NO
THIS ERASES THE INFORMATION STORED ON THE FIRST TWO RESERVED CYLINDERS!!!

instead just 

format drive dh0: name FunnyPart


Don't remount res0:
Don't ever format res0:

The manual has a few words on this as well.
