Discovery has gotten out of the disk copying business with the advent of their
game software.  The last brain file released was BF10.  Many people have 
strong complaints about that version.  Some of the titles which were supported
for BF3 aren't copied correctly with the newer one.  Other copiers are 
RawCopy, and NIB (the latter is public domain, and is the only one that I
know of that copies DungeonMaster)

The Amiga was designed with considerable flexibility in the read rate 
of floppy disks.  Although the write rate is required to be within 1.5% of
nominal, the read rate is allowed to differ by at least 5%.  There isn't
any way to trick your drives into writing 5% slower or 5% faster to the 
disk, but with special drives which spin slowly, and customized software,
copy protection schemes can write readable disks which cannot be duplicated
on your machine.  (You could slow down your drives as well, but then you
wouldn't be able to write normal disks, and many of the software protection
schemes work by changing back and forth between slow and fast tracks.
