The guy I'm working for went to a ComputerLand or some such business-oriented place, and they of course recommended an 286 system w/DBase IV. However, he's willing to listen to me. Not wanting to spend my summer hacking under MSDOS, I'd like to suggest an Amiga 2000. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the database products available for Amigas. I'm going to need something pretty powerful. I'm going to have to write custom code -- a package like MicroFiche Filer won't cut it. I've heard Superbase Professional is considered the best package available. Anyone ever develop a large system in it? How easy is it to use? How buggy is it? Can I develop Intuition-ized systems with it? Are there any SQL based database products available? Anyone have any other recommendations? Please e-mail replies. Thanks much in advance. - Rob McNicholas Rob.McNicholas@andrew.cmu.edu Rob.McNicholas%andrew@cmccvb.bitnet
