An update on my floppy trouble 8-)!!

Thanks to John Schilling of Commodore QA and Elliot Hammett for pointing me 
in the direction of DiskDoctor and DiskSalv. Diskdoctor worked just fine
at fixing the disk and I retrieved my files intact. All I had to do was
run DiskDoctor BEFORE I inserted my corrupted floppy. 

John also pointed out that Commodore was aware that corrupt disks sometimes
cause the machine to guru and they are working hard on a solution for 1.4. 
He also noted that they are indeed working on the customer service phone 
system, which could explain my sudden disconnection.

I'm sure several other people have already mailed me some help for
this, thank you one and all 8-)!!
