I unzoo'ed everything into ram: and copied PCCopy from my Extras disk to ram: as well. I put a 720k disk into df0: and click on the PcPatch icon. Up comes PcPatch's window and I click on df0: to use as MS-DOS. Ok, PCCopy starts and reads the disk for a split second, but no files show up. If I click the FROM/TO box, the amiga files show up. "Hmm," says I, "maybe something is wrong with that disk." Grab another MS-DOS disk and slip it it, click "change disk" (or whatever). Again, a split second read, and no files. So I try an experiment. Let's go the other way. Click FROM/TO, select an amiga file, and punch COPY. It responds by saying there is no room on the root directory. But there _is_ (I know there's only a few files on one disk.) For completeness, the systems: Amiga: 500, 1M, df0: (I didn't read anything saying I needed two physical drives and assumed ram: would work) MS-DOS: disks were formatted and written by a PS/2 with dos 3.3 (I think). These are _not_ in 1.44M format (would I trust my class project to a DD disk that's trying to hold 1.44M? Nah) So, if some enlightned soul would care to open my eyes, I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance. ======================================= = Simon Rademacher = = rademach%tramp@boulder.colorado.edu =
