Hooray! This locking problem has been a plague since we started using Berkeley Mail and sendmail seriously a year ago. We only handle 100-200 deliveries a day, but our users have to be trained to execute 'mailq' before executing or exiting Mail. Ugly! How can I get your modified version, Mark? Is it specific to SR9.x or SR10.x? --Dennis Dennis Cottel Naval Ocean Systems Center, San Diego, CA 92152 (619) 553-1645 dennis@nosc.MIL sdcsvax!noscvax!dennis
