The DN10000 is no exception. The problem is, I need a library of 3-D volume rendering calls to program with. NO, I don't have any polygons, nor do I have any geometric model. I have 78,000,000 voxels in a volume image, 512x512x300. The 10000 has a great architecture, and I'm already an Apollo-fiend, and would like to keep our hardware on a single platform. Does anyone know of 3-D VOLUME RENDERING software? Cognivision is good, but it's a geometric model-based package. They said they would work with me, but I need working software soon, and don't want to become a test site for new software. My Apollo salesman is in search of someone they can hire to port a software package from some other platform, but if something is running and can be made available, please reach me soon. Other companies (Ardent, SGI, Pixar, AT&T Pixel Machines) have all demonstrated volume rendering of our data. If you have 3-D volume rendering of opaque voxels, reach me at: Scott Ferguson (201) 730-2339 ferguson@erevax.bitnet Thanks very much.
