In domain_examples there is a directory of lots of keydef and startup
files.  I believe this was originally added at SR10, although most of
them should work fine in previous releases.  I highly recommend you 
look at them (or nab them from someone if you don't have SR10 yet
(I didn't say that :-)).  They include things such as pseudo-emacs
emulation, keydefs for handling invisible windows and icons without
resorting to the mouse, standard window layouts, easy manipulation of
window sizes and more.

I'm not sure which upsets me more; that people are so unwilling to accept      responsibility for their own actions, or that they are so eager to regulate   everyone else's.
