I had thought that there was an incompatibility between the chip and a program that I was running, but it turns out that the chip would work fine for about an hour and then would start acting flaky -- Appleworks would crash into the monitor, Kermit would hang during file transfers.... I called up Zip Tech and they said they would replace the chip for free. I sent it back last week and am now waiting for my replacement chip.
