I did a bit of research, and it seems the enhancements involved 1 replacing the 6502 with a 65C02 (I've also seen 6503's in 'em), and replacing 2 the ROMs with updated versions. Does anybody know any easier ways of getting | around this problem with Publish it, or, if not, does any one know where we 3 could get a good deal on the new ROMs and CPUs for lets say 30 or so computers | ?? 1)The 6503 is a different chip than the 6502 or 65C02. 2) I don't know of any patches to Publish.it2 to make it work on an unenhanced //e. 3) If you can't get a good deal from your Apple dealer, try contacting a mail order place from an Apple related magazine. If you tell them that it educational related, and the number of upgrade kits you want. They may give you a good deal. -- Matthew Lee Stier | Sun Microsystems --- RTP, NC 27709-3447 | "Wisconsin Escapee" uucp: { sun, mcnc!rti }!sunpix!matthew | phone: (919) 469-8300 fax: (919) 460-8355 |
