1)The 6503 is a different chip than the 6502 or 65C02. 

2) I don't know of any patches to Publish.it2 to make it work on an unenhanced //e.

3) If you can't get a good deal from your Apple dealer, try contacting a mail order
   place from an Apple related magazine.  If you tell them that it educational 
   related, and the number of upgrade kits you want.  They may give you a good deal.
