It hasn't been forgotten, because the 32Mb limitation is a limitation imposed by the file structure ProDOS uses. The limitation is because the ProDOS filing system uses a word to identify block numbers, and 65535 blocks = 32Mb. If this were to be changed, then the new volumes would not be readable by older versions. Cary Farrier
