If any file is left open on a disk, ProDOS intentionally refuses to look for a different disk in the drive that is supposed to still contain the disk with an open file on it. Applications should always close all open files before QUITting. >What's the latest ProDOS 8 version anyway? ProDOS 8 1.7 is current; it's on GS System Disk 4.0 as the P8 file inside the System folder.
