I can assure you that such a setup..(no hard drive by the way) will work with documents at least 30 pages in length. (double spaced) Did it all the time...with no problems. I suspect that if someone was getting only ten pages on a 512K system then s/he had a lot of desk acc.s eating up RAM. Don't get me wrong...WP/ST *is* a memory hog. Using it on a 512K system is not very fun. The spell checker will work at a crawl.. if it will run at all...and having multiple documents open at once is next to impossible. It does work though..and it's not as limited as past messages would have you believe. I managed many term papers on a 512K machine.
