Here's the breakdown of VGA support on 3.2 Rel. 2.1. 3.2 2.1 Does support System V VGA IOCTL's to do VGA on Unix System V. However, I don't know of even a single package that uses these to do graphics on the console (if you know of some, you can email me and I'll summarize and re-post). This does NOT NOT NOT include support for ANY Xenix VGA calls. This means that if you buy the Xenix version of Autocad 9.0 and tell Autocad that you have a VGA display, you get a nice blank screen. There will be a new version of the X WIN server this summer that supports VGA, and there will be an upgrade for current X WIN users; if I remember right there will be an upgrade fee but it won't be over $200. When it's available I'll post or email the upgrade procedure to those that are interested. About the only way to take advantage of VGA on System V is to use X WIN; I've seen the VGA X WIN server when it was in beta, and it looked pretty nice. -- Frank McGee, AT&T Tier 3 Indirect Channel Sales Support attmail!fmcgee
