I think it should be de00-deff?

You should try to use bigger condensators, I had the same trouble with
my SRAM-application. The values 100nF and up are fine (??)..
Where did you find that recipie? I have a Finnnish C64-magazine, which
has the same chip and plugs in DE00-DEFF (i/o1).
