What I was looking at was a 702Mb CDC WREN-V (94181-638), which run about $2500. What I need to know is: (a) has anyone done this (b) are you running it synchronously or asynchronously? (c) where did you get it & any extras you had to buy; in particular, the 3100 supports synchronous SCSI - how useful is this? (d) how difficult was it to install Ultrix on the beast?
