If so, what am I doing wrong !! Essentially, I booted the basic system (choice 1 from the menu). Chose a class a network in netsetup But when I do a rlogin I get "Network not reachable". I logged in at the root. But I didn't go to single user / superuser mode. Should I have ? I seem to have superuser / system manager priveleges just the way I am. I feel I am not doing something big. Like start up a daemon or not invoking tcp / ip... Arrggh. We had 1 guy come in to see what was wrong, he spotted 1 error in the IP network numbers so we fixed it . He went away. However, the problem remained. I am new at Unix / workstations/ Lans, so any advice would be appreciated.
