I use Desqview and a 286, and have found that the only good use for extended memory is to make swapping to disk very fast. I just set up a 2MB ramdisk, and point the swapdisk to it. That is the only use for 286 extended memory, because your programs don't run in protected mode. If your memory is LIM 4.0, it is much more useful to Desqview, because programs can actually run in it, unlike in extended memory or LIM 3.2 Hope this helps. -- Michael D.
