I don't think that's what he meant.

Excerpt from my logon script for ncoast.ORG:

LOGIN:
        WAITFOR "login:" 5
        IF NOT WAITFOR
                BREAK
                GOTO LOGIN:
        ENDIF


The "IF NOT WAITFOR ... ENDIF" is the magic that lets it work right.
