	i am trying this again:

	macintosh 2 cpu
	5 megs ram ( 2 apple m0219 expansion kits+1 meg in 256 k simms)
	100 mb internal hard drive (rodime)
	internal 2400 epic modem (international norms)
	extended keyboard
	apple rgb color monitor (13'')
	apple video card and 8 bit video card expansion kit
	apple monitor stand
	carrying cases for the monitor and cpu+keyboard (paid 150 $)
	inside mac volume 1
	great value software


i am asking $5000.0 for the whole system but i might consider selling everything except the cpu if i have a reasonable offer for that.
if you want to upgrade to the mac 2x type of machine , you can get a pmmu for about $500 or less.
i think that you are going to have a hard time in trying to build the same system for not (very) substantially more, even at university mass discounts.
