I tested it on two different Epson LQ printers (an LQ-1000 and an LQ-500). It just plain couldn't be coaxed to work on the LQ-500 at all. On the LQ-1000, it did work, but had the *annoying* habit of appending a stray character (usually a capital letter "R") in the upper left hand corner of every page.
