Yes, no problem.  Buy as many chips as you like (up to about 2 liters),
open the case, throw them in, and close the case.
I would advise you to switch the mac on very carefully, because of sparks.

(Oh, you mean, _connected_ memory?  Well, the Plus ROMs allow only 4M. Sorry)
