The game works fine on a Plus or SE. The problem seems to be when you use the mouse for movement instead of the keyboard. At that point the game quits with the message that Lode runner has quit unexpectedly. If you try and use the editor for the game which is mouse driven also the same error occurs. The error occurs when the mouse button is hit. I have tried it under finder and multifinder and several versions of the system with no success. Does anybody out there know why this fails on the MACII and not the Plus or the SE. Is there a way to get this to work? (specific system, patch, etc). The people at Broderbund who make the game said it does not work on a MAC II and as it was written in 1984 it will probably not be fixed. They seemed to think it would not work at all but the game part (not the editor) works with keyboard input. Any ideas?
