Having the rumours of VM in 7.0 in mind I walked up to a rep of Connectix and asked them about the statement (Garber, above). The rep said that it would probably depend upon how Apple decided to do it, or more specifically, on whether they planned on incorporating it into an extensive system rewrite. In other words, if it were going to be something of an add on, like an init, then very probably, according to this person's statement, Connectix might have grounds for a suit.
