A technique that seemed to work for me (but is a bit awkward) is to click and hold the mouse button in the OK button of the print dialog. While holding the button, press and hold Cmd-F. Then release the mouse button. Release Cmd-F, when you see the appropriate message. Also, for PageMaker, you can avoid all this if you use the Aldus driver.
