The current ResEdit (or at least the most recent one that I have) is 1.2b4, and it is completely MultiFinder compatible. It also fixes a large number of other major bugs, such as the infamous resource file corruption if you quit without explicitly closing your changed files. (It took me several weeks to break myself of the habit of closing every window by hand before quitting!) The only new bug I've observed is that the gray outlines of dialog items have been screwed up, displaced by one pixel, so that alignment operations and resizing operations can't be made to conform to an implicit alignment. For instance, say you have a user item and you want to grow it only horizontally. It used to be that you could grab the corner and drag it out making sure that the outline aligned wqith the bottom line of the item itself. If you do that now, then you will add one pixel to the vertical size of the item. Similarly, you used to be able to drag the gray outline of an item next to another item, aligning top and bottom or right and left, then drop it, and it would be aligned. Now it will be off by one pixel. This is somewhat compensated for by the addition of an "Align to Grid" item in the new DITL menu, but I hope it gets fixed anyway.
