This is the only place in Mark's two postings that I recall seeing resolution-independent graphics mentioned. I assume this means more than just the outline fonts. For example, I hope this means I can draw a one inch line on a 72dpi screen, save the file, play back the file on a 100dpi screen and see a line that measures one inch. If this is so, I'm curious as to how bitmaps would be handled. Changing the subject: how, when and where will Apple make detailed technical information available on all of the currently announced new features of System 7.0? Will there be a draft IM V6? When will it be available? How can those of us on the Internet get it? (Please don't tell us that APDA will be the only source -- System 7.0 will have been released a year before APDA ships the first draft copy.)
