Some observations on the 'final' ResEdit 1.2: All the pickers with templates now use Monaco 12 as the default font. YECCCHH!!! What was wrong with Chicago? This is *bogus*. ResMENU, the *excellent* MENU editor that installs as an 'RSSC' rsrc, breaks under 1.2 (yet again). (This was v1.2b1.1, which worked well with ResEdit 1.2b3.) Why isn't a graphic menu editor included as a standard part of ResEdit, like the DITL or ICN# editors? The "GetInfo" dialog for files and folders now includes a popup menu to edit Color (as seen in the Finder). Nice. List windows are now resizable, and the Preferences dialog includes options for setting default sizes. Very, very nice. Conclusion (not entirely objective): Items 1 and 2 above were more important to me than 3 and 4. I went back to 1.2b3. -- ========== ....... ============================================= Ken McLeod :. .: UUCP: ...{spsd,zardoz,felix}!dhw68k!thecloud ========== :::.. ..::: INTERNET: thecloud@dhw68k.cts.com //// =============================================
