I would prefer that this not happen. Is there something I can change. Can I put the environmental variables in another file? What's the best way to open a terminal to a remote host? I would like to fire up a remote terminal from the dock. The only way I know how to do this currently is to drag /usr/hosts/host to the dock. Is there a better way? John Carlson carlson@tis.llnl.gov
