The new release of calentool the SunView calendar/reminder-service/almanac
has been sent to the moderator of comp.sources.sun.  If you are still
using version 2.0 or earlier you'll find that this version has: new user
interface, reoccuring appointments, overlapping appointments, date files
for holidays and other events, lunar and solar data (rise, set, etc.) and
much much more.
