The note from Jim Rudolf in issue 271 set me off investigating. We were
about to purchase a Sun 3/80. Flame on- the salesmen forgot to mention
that the 3/80 has no internal transiever at all, just a 15 pin ethernet
plug in the back. You must buy an external transiever which costs about
$258 from a third party. flame off.  It seems like that should have been
mentioned somewhere in our discussion.
