I still have a problem with an ALM-2 in a Sun 3/160 with a Rimfire 3220
controller.  The problem is that ports on the ALM-2 periodically go into
and out of "history" mode, where it takes upwards of 2 minutes for the
system to respond to typed characters.  None of the patches, including
yapt 5.4 has helped.  Are there 3rd party alternatives to the ALM-2 that
do not have this problem?
