I am searching the Garamond font (in Metafont or bin.) 
or a similar font. It is a font similar to Roman. In the
English speaking world it seems to be used for literature
only. I have not seen any technical book that uses it.

You can see the differences to the ordinary Roman font in e.g. T,W:
