Lines: 16 After reading and rereading the documentation I am at a loss. I am running Unix SYSV on an AT&T 386 and would like to be able to print from a remote site. The idea being that when I call up system X and request a report, system X should dial me back on another line and connect to the modem which is hooked up to a printer. Entries have been made in Systems at the host sight, and a printer has been set up according to the Operations/System Admin Guide. (i.e. /usr/lip/lpadmin -p printername -A write -U dialer-entry). I am able to access this printer through cu, however using "lp -d printername" returns a result of unable to access device. lpstat reports that the job is in queue with a printer fault.
