My system is a MicroVAX II running Ultrix 3.0 and I would like to extract the files on these tapes to the MicroVAX. Here is what is happining: ------------------------- Script started on Sat Apr 22 07:39:57 1989 csh> vmsbackup -t -f /dev/rmt0h Volume: AMIGA1 Saveset name: AMIGA1.BCK number: 1 End of tape csh> ^D script done on Sat Apr 22 07:40:40 1989 ------------------------- It only takes a few seconds for the 3 lines of output so I know that it is not "End of tape" Does anyone have any ideas OR another utility other than vmsbackup? Thanks Jim UUCP: ...!{watmath,boulder,decvax,rutgers}!sunybcs!fredonia!will
