I am attempting to use "lbgm" to capture certain news groups. My sys file contains: ----- ajfcal:local,calgary,can,comp,gnu,news,rec,all,to.ajfcal:: SOURCES:can.uucp,comp.sources.unix,comp.sources.misc, comp.sources.bugs,to.ajfcal::/usr/lib/news/lbgm /usr/spool/lbgm/src tony MAPSS:comp.mail.maps::/usr/lib/news/lbgm /usr/spool/lbgm/maps tony calgary:calgary,ab,na,world,net,comp,news,can,soc,rec,misc,talk,gnu,to.calgary:: ----- If I postnews to any group that is supposed to be captured by lbgm, the capture does take place properly. If I receive news from outside my system (i.e. from my news feed), lbgm captures nothing. I am obviously doing something incorrect - however I cannot figure it out no matter how often I RTFM. The manual does imply that the dotted groups are valid. Thankyou... -- +------------------------------------ | Tony Field ..uunet!utai!calgary!ajfcal!tony | Co-Design Information Systems Ltd. | Calgary, Alberta, Canada voice: (403) 266-3239
