Lines: 15 As a beginning X programmer, I have found the following book to be a life saver: Introduction to the X Window System Oliver Jones Prentice-Hall It explains the whys of Xlib and even gives some warnings about what NOT to do and so forth. It is weak but it is better than nothing. What it really lacks is programming examples. Cheers! Mark
